Letting energy flow, without wanting to direct itA stance of humility and trustA subtle… but powerful connectionWhy am I sharing this with you? There is an idea that accompanies me in each of my treatments.
A simple phrase, almost an inner compass:
“I am not the source. I am a channel.”
It may sound abstract, even mystical. But for me, it is very concrete. It changes everything in the way I position myself, touch and accompany.
I am not there to “give” something.
I am there to let things pass through.
Letting energy flow, without wanting to direct it
When I am giving a treatment, I connect.
I make myself available to something greater than me, to this intelligence of life that knows, feels and adjusts.
I do not impose.
I do not step in thinking I know better than the other person’s body what it needs.
I create a space, I listen, I put myself at the service of the flow.
In this stance as a channel, I step back a little to make room for what matters : what is seeking to move again, to be released, to find harmony again in the person receiving.
A stance of humility and trust
Not being the source means giving up on “doing well”, on “succeeding” at a treatment.
It means stepping out of the mind, out of performance, out of “results”.
It requires great presence, a fine quality of listening, but also a deep humility: I am not the one who heals, I am the one who accompanies a living process.
And the more I step back, the more the space opens.
The more I let go of the wish to do well, the more accurate the treatment becomes.
A subtle… but powerful connection
Being a channel does not mean being passive or neutral.
It is a stance that is committed and vibrant.
It is a state in which my hands become a language, my breath a link, my presence an anchor.
I connect to universal energy, to the Earth, to the person in front of me.
And in this alignment, something flows — which I do not control, but which I accompany with care and respect.
Why am I sharing this with you?
Because I believe it is important for you to know from where I touch you.
I am not there to impose a technique, nor to pass “my energy” on to you.
I am there to offer you a space where your own energy can move again.
And in this space, there is nothing to force: only to feel, to welcome, to let be.
“Being a channel means stepping aside just enough for life to take up all the space.”
It is this stance that I try to honour, treatment after treatment, encounter after encounter.
